Pacific Northwest Willard Rendezvous 2012
Ah, Springtime in La Conner -- time to get the boat out and join with other crazy old boat fans for a fun-filled weekend at the 2012 Pacific Northwest Willard Boats Rendezvous.
It's over Mothers Day weekend, which is a gorgeous time to visit La Conner. There may still be some tulips out, and the La Conner marina is an ideal location to meet. It's easy to get to, centrally located, and very well protected.
If you are a Willard owner, please respond on the Forum, or email Rick at info@pacificmotorboat.com if you are interested in attending. We will arrange for a block of space with the marina, but then each owner will be responsible for making a reservation and paying a 50% deposit.
Place: La Conner Marina
Moorage: Arrange directly with Port. Cost is $1.00/foot per night, including power.
Arrive: Friday evening the 11th, or Saturday the 12th
Depart: Sunday the 13th.
Events:
- Saturday afternoon open boat tours (optional)

Saturday Pot Luck on the dock, followed by Sea Stories and Merriment
Cake & Ice Cream to celebrate the Willard 30 series -- 40 years old this year! - Sunday morning Moms-day breakfast get-together?
- How about a "Sailpast"? A quick parade in front of the marina makes for great photo-ops!
Any other ideas are welcome. (Also if you'd like to help with the organization and planning, please let me know -- definitely could use some help!)
